Handwoven Rattan Moon Lighting Chain Battery Christmas Decoration

This moon lighting chain is a battery-powered decorative light for Christmas and other indoor seasonal displays. The moon body is handwoven from rattan and measures approximately 8cm in diameter, giving it a textured surface that differs from a smooth plastic ornament. Because the chain runs on 3 No. 5 batteries, it can be placed on a shelf, mantelpiece, windowsill, or wall hook without needing a mains socket nearby. Two lengths are available. The 1.2 metre option contains 10 battery-powered lights including the moon, while the 2.5 metre option contains 20 battery-powered lights including the moon. Both lengths offer a continuous on mode and a flashing mode, selected through the battery pack. The light source emission colour is warm colour light, and the options are listed as Color or Warm White in both lengths. The item is supplied as a single lighting chain. No waterproof rating, battery lifespan, or outdoor suitability is stated in the source information, so indoor use is the practical assumption.

Features and Construction

The construction centres on a handwoven rattan moon and a battery-powered light chain. These two elements determine how the decoration looks and where it can be placed. The source information gives the moon diameter, the chain lengths, the number of lights, the battery type, the light colour, and the two lighting modes.

Material and Build

The moon is made from handwoven rattan, which gives the surface a woven texture rather than a smooth finish. Rattan is a natural material, and the handwoven process means the moon has a slightly individual appearance from piece to piece. The light chain is battery powered, so the build includes a battery pack that holds 3 No. 5 batteries. The battery pack also carries the mode switch. No information is given about the gauge or coating of the wire, so the description stays with the stated materials and power source.

Size and Practical Fit

The moon measures approximately 8cm in diameter, which is small enough to sit on a shelf or hang in a compact indoor space. The 1.2 metre chain carries 10 battery-powered lights including the moon, and the 2.5 metre chain carries 20 battery-powered lights including the moon. The longer chain gives more reach for draping along a mantelpiece or winding around a small indoor display. The shorter chain suits a tighter arrangement. Both lengths use the same battery type and offer the same continuous and flashing modes.

Uses and Placement

The battery-powered design makes this chain suitable for indoor positions where a mains socket is not available. It can be used as a Christmas decoration or as a decorative light for other seasonal events. The warm colour light and handwoven moon shape give it a specific look that differs from standard string lights.

Event or Professional Use

For Christmas displays, the moon can be hung on a wall hook, placed on a festive table, or included in a window arrangement. Event stylists may use several chains to build a themed indoor display, because the battery pack removes the need for cable runs to a socket. The continuous mode suits a steady background light, while the flashing mode can be used where a changing light effect is wanted. The 1.2m and 2.5m lengths allow different spacing across a display.

Everyday Home Use

At home, the chain can be placed on a shelf, mantelpiece, bedside table, or windowsill. The 8cm moon is small enough to sit within a small arrangement without taking over the space. The warm colour light gives a low-level decorative glow in the evening. Because the chain is battery powered, it can be moved between rooms without unplugging anything. The single lighting chain supplied is enough for one small display area.

Benefits and Buying Value

The practical value comes from the battery power, the two lighting modes, and the choice of two chain lengths. These features affect where the decoration can be placed and how it can be used. The handwoven rattan moon also gives the item a specific material character that is stated in the source information.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

The lighting chain can be packed away after the season and used again the following year. Storage should be loose to prevent the chain from tangling. The rattan moon should be kept dry, and the battery pack should be kept away from moisture. When the chain is not in use, removing the batteries is a sensible low-risk step. No cleaning instructions are given in the source information, so only minimal care tied to the stated materials should be applied.

Why Choose This Product

This product suits buyers who want a moon-shaped Christmas light with a handwoven rattan body and a battery-powered chain. The 1.2m option with 10 lights and the 2.5m option with 20 lights cover different display sizes. The warm colour light, continuous and flashing modes, and 3 No. 5 battery requirement are all stated features. The source information does not include waterproofing, battery lifespan, or outdoor ratings, so the item is best treated as an indoor decoration. The package contains one lighting chain.
